Softball Recap: Tallwood Comes Up Short

Tallwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 3-0 to the Ocean Lakes Dolphins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dolphins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Tallwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Ocean Lakes, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tallwood will face off against rival Princess Anne at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ocean Lakes is set to challenge their familiar foe Kempsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Dolphins 2.4, the Chiefs 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
