Lake City won the last time they faced Post Falls and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Timberwolves walked away with a 12-9 win over the Trojans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Timberwolves.

Avrey Cherry made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. Cherry was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Kyle Johnson and Travis Usdrowski did most of the damage at the plate: Johnson scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Usdrowski scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jack Pierce, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-5.

Lake City's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Post Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9-1.

Lake City will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair will be back at it again later today.
