Washington School for the Deaf falls despite strong effort from Julian Robinson

The Washington School for the Deaf Terriers lost against the Firm Foundation Christian Eagles back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Washington School for the Deaf received a tough blow as they fell 57-40 to Firm Foundation Christian. Washington School for the Deaf has not had much luck with Firm Foundation Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Washington School for the Deaf lost, one person who can't be blamed is Julian Robinson. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Robinson hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorenzo Fortunato, who scored nine points.

Washington School for the Deaf has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Firm Foundation Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Washington School for the Deaf will be playing at home against Naselle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Naselle knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Washington School for the Deaf likes a good challenge. As for Firm Foundation Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Mossyrock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
