             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Martinsville, Shelbyville was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They beat the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs by a goal, winning  4-3. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 They hit Franklin Community with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Hannah Baker (2), 
 Ava Van Wye, and 
 Hali Chaney.
 The  win  got Shelbyville back to even at 1-1. As for Franklin Community, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 1-1-1.
 Shelbyville's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on New Castle at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Shelbyville will be up against New Castle's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.5  goals per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Franklin Community, they will take on Mt. Vernon at 11:30  a.m.  on Saturday.
