Nease waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ponte Vedra Sharks. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sharks, too.

Nease never let Ponte Vedra on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24, 25-11.

Nease's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. As for Ponte Vedra, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Nease will be playing at home against Creekside at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ponte Vedra, they will challenge Oviedo at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Sharks are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
