Rancho Cucamonga posted their closest victory since March 17th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Los Osos Grizzlies. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Grizzlies back in March, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Rancho Cucamonga has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. As for Los Osos, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-15.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rancho Cucamonga is set to square off against their familiar foe Claremont at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Los Osos will challenge rival Etiwanda at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
