Baseball Game Preview: Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons vs. Marin Catholic Wildcats

Archie Williams is 2-8 against Marin Catholic since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Peregrine Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Neither Archie Williams nor Marin Catholic posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Archie Williams took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Tamalpais a 2-0 shutout.

The result came thanks to Wyatt Koenig's shutout, as he gave up just four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.
