Quincy is 8-2 against Plymouth South since November of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Presidents will venture away from home to face off against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Quincy will be strutting in after a win while Plymouth South will be coming in after a defeat.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Quincy and Whitman-Hanson Regional had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Presidents blew past the Panthers 3-0 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Presidents have posted against the Panthers since September 21, 2018.

Quincy never let Whitman-Hanson Regional on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Plymouth South came up short against Hingham on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Plymouth South's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Quincy, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Quincy beat Plymouth South 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Presidents since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
