IMG Academy Gold not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 7th. Everything went their way against the Montverde Academy Eagles as they made off with an 11-5 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Ascenders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Tyler Shindo was incredible, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since March 1st. Shooter Barreras was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

The win got IMG Academy Gold back to even at 9-9. As for Montverde Academy, they moved to 14-5 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

IMG Academy Gold didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against Inspiration Academy on the 1st. As for Montverde Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-2 loss against Winter Springs on the 31st.
