Baseball Recap: El Paso-Gridley Titans vs. Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs
El Paso-Gridley fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Deer Creek-Mackinaw on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 6-5. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.
Owen Adams was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. Adams was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.
