By Zack Poff Nov 1, 2025, 9:00pm

No. 14 St. Thomas Aquinas defeats No. 17 Chaminade-Madonna 27-21.

No. 12 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) overcame a 21-3 deficit to defeat No. 1 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) 36-31.

The top-ranked Braves had won their first nine games by an average margin of 35.5 points per game.

Down 21-3, Mater Dei quarterback Ryan Hopkins got on a roll and threw five touchdowns to secure the upset.

Five-star Ohio State commit Chris Henry Jr. had 213 receiving yards and two touchdowns while fellow Buckeyes commit Kayden Dixon-Wyatt had three scores.

CJ Lavender Jr. helped seal the game for the Monarchs by intercepting his second pass in the games final minutes.

The Monarchs have won four in a row against St. John Bosco.

No. 14 St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale) took down No. 17 Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood) 27-21 in a back and forth dual.

The game was tied 21-21 heading into the fourth when St. Thomas Aquinas kicker Johnny DiSalvatore kicked two field goals to win the game. Quarterback Mason Mallory ran for a touchdown and Duke Daley scored two rushing touchdown for the Raiders.

Chaminade-Madonna had three leads in the game as freshman quarterback Malik Leonard had a pair of rushing touchdowns and Lee Prince Jr. added one.

Four-star Georgia commit Justice Fitzpatrick intercepted a pass by Leonard as the clock hit triple-zeros to win the game for St. Thomas Aquinas.

No. 9 Edna Karr (New Orleans) topped John Curtis Christian (River Ridge) 48-26 in a matchup of undefeated teams in Louisiana. Quarterback John Johnson ran for a touchdown and threw scores to Anthony Thomas and Cameron Munford. Tre Garrison also ran in two touchdowns for the Cougars. The Karr defense added two touchdowns as Kevin Martin Jr. and Richard Anderson picked up fumbles and ran them in.

No. 13 Carrollton (Ga.) won the AAAAAA Region 2 title by defeating Douglas County (Douglasville, Ga.) 55-22.

Senior running back Cameron Wood found the end zone four times for Carrollton. The senior now has 24 rushing touchdowns this year.

Freshman C.J. Cypher continued to roll by throwing touchdowns to Peyton Zachary and Keaires Miller as the Trojans finish the regular season 10-0.

No. 2 St. Frances Academy (Baltimore) added another big win to its resume handing The St. James Performance Academy (Springfield, Va.) its first loss of the season with a dominant 35-0 victory. The Panthers have won seven in a row since a narrow 21-14 road loss across the country at St. John Bosco. There is a good chance the Baltimore power takes over the No. 1 spot in next week's rankings.

No. 4 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) cruised to a 31-13 win over Hun (Princeton, N.J.) after holding on to a 14-7 halftime lead. The Ascenders will be a major player in contending for the No. 1 spot as well after St. John Bosco's loss. The Ascenders improved to 9-0 and the only game left on the schedule is against St. Frances Academy and the date is still to be determined.
