Basketball Recap: Hamilton Southeastern Comes Up Short

Hamilton Southeastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Noblesville Millers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royals of the 56-53 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Despite the loss, Hamilton Southeastern still got an impressive performance from Luke Weemer, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 21 points. Landon Osswald was another key player, putting up six points and six assists.

Baron Walker was his usual excellent self, shooting 70% from the field on his way to 22 points in addition to five assists and five boards for Noblesville. Walker's big performance that evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Adam Fine, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Hamilton Southeastern's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Noblesville, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Hamilton Southeastern has already played their next game, a 76-72 victory against Pendleton Heights on the 31st. As for Noblesville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-39 defeat against Guerin Catholic on the 31st.
