It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Southern Lehigh ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Salisbury Township Falcons by a score of 13-10. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won nine in a row.

Southern Lehigh's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Salisbury Township, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Lehigh will face off against Palisades at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Salisbury Township, they will challenge Catasauqua at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Rough Riders at the right time seeing as the Rough Riders are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
