Volleyball Recap: Alleluia Community Finds Playoff Glory Versus the Habersham School

Alleluia Community had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past The Habersham School Patriots 3-0 on Friday. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory on Friday.

Alley McBride paced Alleluia Community's offense, picking up 15 kills. McBride got some help from Reese Janik and her 30 assists. Finally, Elizabeth Almeter kept Alleluia Community's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

The win was the fourth in a row for Alleluia Community, bringing their record up to 27-5. As for The Habersham School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 30-11.

Alleluia Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Aquinas on the 8th. As for The Habersham School, they will face off against Providence Classical Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
