Basketball Recap: Strother Comes Up Short

The Strother Yellowjackets were dealt a 64-37 defeat at the hands of the Tupelo Tigers on Friday. The game marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Strother now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Tupelo, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Strother has already played their next game, a 63-45 win against Stratford on the 25th. As for Tupelo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-34 victory against Stonewall on the 25th.
