Soccer Game Preview: Eisenhower vs. Rialto

The Eisenhower Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Rialto Knights at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Eisenhower's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Eisenhower fell victim to Bloomington and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins.

Meanwhile, Rialto also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Edison by a score of 1-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Rialto can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while Edison are ranked 32nd).

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-2-3. As for Eisenhower, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-5-1.

Eisenhower might still be hurting after the 7-1 loss they got from Rialto in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
