Softball Recap: West Point Comes Up Short

West Point managed to slip by Vestavia Hills the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. West Point lost 7-0 to Vestavia Hills on Tuesday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

West Point's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Vestavia Hills, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-10-1.

West Point didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Houston Academy on the 25th. As for Vestavia Hills, they will venture away from home to face off against Spain Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
