Basketball Game Preview: Braddock Bulldogs vs. Piper Bengals

The Braddock Bulldogs and the Piper Bengals will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Braddock is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season.

Braddock will head into Saturday's matchup hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 42) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Orange Park, sneaking past 55-53.

Braddock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jhonny Felix, who posted ten points along with eight boards and five assists. Felix is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Liano Lacayo was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, Piper might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Plantation an easy 73-51 victory. The Bengals have struggled against the Colonels recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Braddock is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Piper, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
