Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Antioch). They breezed by the Deer Valley Wolverines to the tune of 73-39 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Deer Valley still got an impressive performance from Carter Williams, who posted 11 points. Josh Bickham was another key player, putting up seven points and seven rebounds.

Antioch's victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Deer Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-17.

Antioch has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Castro Valley on the 4th. As for Deer Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 85-54 loss against Heritage on the 4th.
