Soccer Recap: Sycamore Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sycamore can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Central Rockets on Tuesday. If Sycamore were looking for revenge after losing 1-1 to Central when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sycamore's loss dropped their record down to 16-8-1. As for Central, they pushed their record up to 9-9-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Sycamore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they will challenge Boylan Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Boylan Catholic's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Central's offense will have their work cut out for them.
