Softball Recap: Agua Dulce Find Success

After losing to Kenedy the last time they met, Agua Dulce decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Longhorns had just enough and edged out the Lions 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Longhorns have posted since February 25th.

The victory made it two in a row for Agua Dulce and bumps their season record up to 4-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Kenedy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10-1.

Agua Dulce will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Port Aransas at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Kenedy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-5 win against Refugio on the 8th.
