Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seton Catholic). They blew past the Fort Vancouver Trappers 33-4 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Jack Williams looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lucas Peterson was a standout: he got on base in four of his six plate appearances with seven RBI, three runs, and one double. Those seven RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Teddy Wieczorek, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one double.

Seton Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .672. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Vancouver only posted an OBP of .400.

Seton Catholic's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Vancouver, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6.

Seton Catholic will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trappers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
