Soccer Game Preview: Victor vs. Rush-Henrietta

The Victor Blue Devils will challenge the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Victor's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Victor fought the good fight in their overtime match against Penfield on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Victor have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Rush-Henrietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Penfield.

Rush-Henrietta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Victor, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Victor's way against Rush-Henrietta when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Victor made off with a 6-0 victory. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Royal Comets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
