High school football playoff action in Utah on Friday night offered a little bit of everything.
The marquee contest came in 6A, where No. 2 Lone Peak handled No. 4 Skyridge 30-6.
Staying in 6A, No. 24 Syracuse upset No. 8 Pleasant Grove while No. 5 American Fork won a wild shootout with Roy 66-45. American Fork scored 49 points in the first half alone.
Class 5A featured a showdown of its own as No. 9 Orem beat No. 22 Brighton 21-6.
