Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colony). They blew past the Kotzebue Huskies, posting an 86-41 win. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Huskies are ranked 71st), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Colony now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Kotzebue, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Colony wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 59-35 defeat against Heritage Christian on the 23rd. As for Kotzebue, they will be playing at home against North Pole at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
