It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Edon ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Camden-Frontier Redskins out 4-3. The win was just what Edon needed coming off of an 11-0 loss in their prior matchup.
Kyler Sapp made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 15 over eight innings pitched. Sapp was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with a home run.
In other batting news, Max Radabaugh was incredible, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Corbin Chrisman was another key contributor, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and an RBI.
