Football Game Preview: Crook County Cowboys vs. Summit Storm

The Crook County Cowboys will challenge the Summit Storm at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Crook County has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight defeats, while Summit will come in with seven straight wins.

On Friday, Crook County had to suffer through a 41-8 loss at the hands of Ridgeview.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Summit). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Bend 49-7. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Lava Bears are ranked 41st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crook County's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Summit, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
