Volleyball Recap: Bunker Wins Going Away Against Viburnum

Bunker not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 22nd (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Viburnum Blue Jays 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Blue Jays recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Bunker never let Viburnum on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 28-26, 25-21.

Kara Barton paced Bunker's offense, picking up 19 kills. Barton got some help from Hadley Martin and her 20 assists. Martin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Bunker's victory bumped their record up to 11-20-4. As for Viburnum, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-22.

Bunker wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Eminence on the 25th. Viburnum does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
