Volleyball Recap: Calvary Chapel Has No Trouble Against Westminster

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Segerstrom, Calvary Chapel was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Westminster Lions 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

While Calvary Chapel might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Westminster scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-18.

Calvary Chapel's win bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Westminster, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calvary Chapel is set to take on their familiar foe Fullerton at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Westminster will challenge rival Segerstrom at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
