Basketball Recap: Strawberry Crest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Strawberry Crest managed to slip by Armwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chargers took a blow against the Hawks on Friday, falling 89-52. It was the first time this season that the Chargers let down their fans at home.

Despite the loss, Strawberry Crest still got an impressive performance from Maximus Von Ancken, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. Von Ancken is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. Jayson Lewis was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Zachariah Grace produced another solid effort dropping a double-double with 35 points and ten boards for Armwood. Another player making a difference was Sebastien Lefranc, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 19 points and five assists.

Strawberry Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Armwood, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Strawberry Crest has already played their next matchup, a 96-74 loss against Jesuit on the 6th. As for Armwood, they will challenge Freedom at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Lefranc and Serigme Thiam.
