Baseball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for Mangham

Mangham hadn't done well against Sterlington recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Panthers. The Dragons not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th.

Mangham's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-13. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Sterlington, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 22-6 record.

Looking ahead, Mangham will take on Rayville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sterlington, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-6 win against Neville on the 8th.
