Soccer Recap: Eagle Pass Comes Up Short

Eagle Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Medina Valley Panthers, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Eagle Pass can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 651st, while Medina Valley are ranked 83rd).

Eagle Pass' loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Medina Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0-1.

Coincidentally, Eagle Pass and Medina Valley will both be playing Laredo LBJ the next time they take the pitch. The Panthers will head out to face Wolves at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
