Alexis Benitez wasn't going to let Coronado walk away unscathed as he scored both of Desert Sunrise's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Desert Sunrise's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Coronado, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-7-1 record.

Desert Sunrise didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Crismon on the 23rd. Coronado has also already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Mohave on the 24th.
