Basketball Game Preview: Alamance Christian Warriors vs. Tabernacle Christian Conquerors

The Alamance Christian Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Tabernacle Christian Conquerors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Alamance Christian will be strutting in after a win while Tabernacle Christian will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Alamance Christian against Hilltop Christian as the squad secured a 62-29 victory. With the Warriors ahead 41-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Tabernacle Christian lost to Hickory Christian Academy on the road by a 75-59 margin on Monday. The Conquerors have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Alamance Christian will need to focus on slowing down Parker Schatz, one of several Tabernacle Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 15 points and seven boards. Schatz has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Elijah Taguinod was another key player, putting up 16 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Tabernacle Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Alamance Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
