Volleyball Recap: Washington Extends Winning Streak to Three

It's playoff time, and Washington had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Hercules Titans with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on three straight.

Washington not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hercules between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-16.

Alex Chicchon was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 15 digs. That's the most digs he has posted since back in March.

The win got Washington back to even at 10-10. As for Hercules, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

Looking ahead, Washington will take on Clayton Valley Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hercules does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
