Ocean Lakes waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Kempsville Chiefs 12-2. Considering the Dolphins have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ocean Lakes' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Kempsville, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ocean Lakes will square off against Great Bridge at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Dolphins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Kempsville, they will challenge Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
