 Elizabethtown was the  17-4 winner over Glasgow when they last played one another  back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Elizabethtown Panthers fell just short of the Glasgow Scotties by a score of  6-5 on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that Elizabethtown has lost by  just one  run.
  Jagger Wallace made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 3-for-3.  Jake Williams was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 Elizabethtown has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record  this season. As for Glasgow,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 12-14.
 Elizabethtown will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Bullitt East at 6:00  p.m. As for Glasgow, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Barren County at 5:30  p.m. Barren County will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  win, something Glasgow surely won't give up without a fight.
