Baseball Recap: Edgar Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Edgar couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 14-2 to the Pacelli Cardinals on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

With the defeat, Edgar broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-8. As for Pacelli, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-4.

Edgar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pacelli, they will face off against Johnson Creek on Thursday. The Bluejays will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
