Football Recap: Colerain Comes Up Short

Colerain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 32-2 loss at the hands of the Princeton Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Vikings are ranked 18th).

Colerain's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Princeton, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Colerain will face off against rival Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Princeton is set to challenge their familiar foe Sycamore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
