Softball Recap: Greensville County's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After flying high against Franklin on Monday, Greensville County came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Windsor Dukes on Tuesday, falling 13-6. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Greensville County fell to 5-1. As for Windsor, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Windsor will face off against Isle of Wight Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Greensville County will be paying especially close attention to the Dukes' game: after the Dukes face off against the Chargers, they'll take on Greensville County again at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
