Baseball Recap: Farragut Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Farragut won the last time they faced Maryville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Admirals blew past the Red Rebels 13-4. Considering the Admirals have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Farragut's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Maryville, they moved to 16-14-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farragut will welcome Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Maryville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
