Soccer Game Preview: Seneca vs. West-Oak

Seneca hasn't had much luck against West-Oak recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bobcats will square off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Seneca didn't have quite enough to beat Greer and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West-Oak, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let Crescent get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what West-Oak needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

West-Oak's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Seneca, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Seneca was able to grind out a solid victory over West-Oak in their previous matchup back in March, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
