Brecken Pelzel leads a balanced attack to beat Humble Christian

In what's become a running theme this season, the Texas Christian Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 62-41 margin over Humble Christian. The victory was nothing new for Texas Christian as they're now sitting on four straight.

Texas Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brecken Pelzel led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. Pelzel is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Williams, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Humble Christian still got an impressive performance from Noah Vickers, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Vickers hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Aayden Dozier, who scored six points along with five steals.

Texas Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Humble Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing School of the Woods the next time they take the court. Humble Christian will host School of the Woods at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Texas Christian will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
