Softball Recap: Callisburg Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Callisburg's offense. They came up short against the Boyd Yellowjackets on Monday, falling 17-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Callisburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Boyd, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Callisburg and Boyd will both be playing Ponder the next time they take the field. The Yellowjackets will head out to face the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 5:00 p.m. on the 17th.
