Leake Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They came up short against the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans, falling 18-1. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Leake Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Northeast Lauderdale, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-13-2.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to an 0-0 draw later that day.
