Soccer Game Preview: MacArthur vs. McNeil

The MacArthur Brahmas will square off against the McNeil Mavericks at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. MacArthur's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

MacArthur's tournament run continued when they took on Judson on Thursday. The Brahmas fell 3-1 to the Rockets.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, McNeil was not quite Madison's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of Madison by a score of 4-3. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as McNeil came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Madison is ranked 178th).

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for McNeil, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1.
