 Forbush had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Surry Central Golden Eagles onto the board and left with  a   12-0  win  on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but Forbush sure is getting used to it with their 17th in a row.
 Not much got past  Riley Campbell, who gave up just  one  hit to keep Surry Central off the board. Campbell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Bo Moxley, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aaron Hutchens, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Forbush's victory was  their 14th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 24-2. As for Surry Central, they now  have a losing record at 12-13.
 Forbush will stay at home for another  game and welcome Pine Lake Prep at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams will come into the  matchup having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes. Surry Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
