Baseball Recap: Seton LaSalle Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Seton LaSalle Rebels didn't have quite enough to beat the Chartiers Valley Colts and fell 8-6.

Connor Rothhaar made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Sonny Testa, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Seton LaSalle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seton LaSalle will host Carrick at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Seton LaSalle has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Chartiers Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Beaver at 4:15 p.m.
