It was a good run, but Deep Run unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Midlothian Trojans. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Deep Run's loss dropped their record down to 16-2. As for Midlothian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Coming up, Deep Run is taking a road trip to face off against Atlee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midlothian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Huguenot at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
