Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Payton Reichelderfer and Dany Alps Lead Thompson Valley to Victory

There's no place like home for Thompson Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Skyview Wolverines on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-8.

Leading Thompson Valley to victory were Dany Alps and Payton Reichelderfer. Alps had 39 assists and ten digs, while Reichelderfer had 19 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Reichelderfer has posted over her last seven matchups.

Thompson Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Skyview didn't served any.

When it comes to explaining why Skyview lost, don't look at Reyna Martinez. Despite the final result, she had 18 digs.

Thompson Valley's record now sits at 14-10. As for Skyview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-8.

Thompson Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Battle Mountain on the 8th. Skyview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
